Läs merPeter Gönczi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has accumulated extensive experience in stock exchanges for growth companies and corporate fundraising for over 20 years.
Between 2000 and 2006, he worked in market surveillance and operations at NGM (Nordic Growth Market), where he quickly advanced to head of information monitoring and later became head of NGM’s market surveillance and exchange administration.
In 2006, Gönczi was appointed Deputy CEO of Spotlight Stock Market (formerly AktieTorget), a role that led to his promotion to CEO in 2011. In this position, he has been instrumental in business development, growing the organization and its workforce, as well as establishing processes, systems, and partnerships. Since the formation of the group in 2010, he has also played a key role in its overall development.
From 2012 to 2016, Gönczi was a driving force behind the group's restructuring, which saw changes in ownership as current major shareholders took over. During this period, Sedermera underwent significant restructuring, including rebranding, organizational changes, and relocation to Malmö.
Since June 2014, Peter Gönczi has served as CEO of Spotlight Group and has been a board member since July 2014. As CEO, he has led the group’s growth and positioning to achieve its strong market presence today. He has also played a central role in the development of the Swedish market for listing growth companies—from telephone trading and news distribution via fax, with minimal regulation and limited investor protection, to today’s more regulated and advanced stock exchange operations.
